The Bridge To Eternal Life
Because all of us have sinned (Romans 3:23), we are not only destined to die physically (Romans 6:23), but we are presently in a state of spiritual death or separation from God (Ephesians 2:1-4).
When Jesus died on the cross, He took our condemnation and paid the price for our sins (Romans 4:25; 5:8; 1 Corinthians 15:3). By suffering and dying as our substitute, Jesus provided a righteousness that God can credit to our account (2 Corinthians 5:21) and made reconciliation possible between sinners and a holy God (John 2:1-2).
John 8:32
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
